10 Apr Family Room home theater make-over on a tight budget
This project was designed for a long time resident of Millburn, NJ. Our client, a local architect, hired PAC to help design a custom television and cabinet solution to fit a tight space. The customer gave us permission to modify the space as much as we need to. We worked with the client’s millworker and facilitated the work.
When we arrived, this was a visually un-attractive space surrounded by clutter with a television sitting in a huge cabinet. We upsized the new Sony 55” OLED television to fit perfectly in the space, then created the cabinet to fit a custom-made sound bar by Leon. We created the cabinet to match the exact size of the TV to fill in the space within a 1/4 of an inch tolerance.
We outfitted the solution with a Sony Blu-ray Player, AV Receiver, subwoofer, all controlled by a single Universal remote control which makes it easy to use.This project demonstrates how the PAC team took a 15 year old D.Y.I. Entertainment system and transformed it into a modern and attractive home theater that will be enjoyed by the entire family. PAC was also able to respect the budget guidelines set by our client and still deliver a totally customized, high performance solution.
